You know that saying “you snooze you lose” well that happened to me as there was an Amex Offers
offer that came out this morning that I received for the Platinum Card
and Rewards Canada contributor Jeff W. let us know he received on his Marriott Bonvoy
American Express card. That offer was a $20 statement credit when you
spend $100 at Mastermind toys. A great offer especially for those
ordering toy, puzzles and games to help pass the time at home. Back
to “you snooze you lose” is that I saw the offer in my email this
morning but didn’t read the whole email that stated it was limited to
first 3,000 cardmembers who register – not the typical five figure
numbers we see for other offers. Well by not registering this morning
when I first saw it I missed out as the offer is gone now. So kudos to
those of you who did get in on it – you’ll get to enjoy that $20

There is a targeted offer to celebrate the reopening of Starbucks
stores in some provinces across Canada they are offering 25 bonus Starbucks Rewards Stars for every mobile order made until June 7. Check your email to see if you have been targeted!
Aeroplan is planning a big two day eStore Mega
Event this weekend. No details have been provided yet but Aeroplan is
definitely trying to build the hype for it! As soon as we know what the
Mega Event will entail will pass it along!

Airline Schedule Updates
This will now be a standard feature for the foreseeable future in our
daily update posts as we summarize Canadian operations based on data
from RoutesOnline and other sources. Remember that many of these route
plans are subject to change and right now they are changing frequently!
WestJet has decided not to start the following
summer seasonal routes in 2020 rather they plan on bringing them back in

Based on these numbers looks like they are anticipating a decent return
to travel in late Summer. We did a quick check for a mid-week stay in
June and Brewster’s wanted $339 for the same room and the cheapest 3rd
party rate we could find was $209. Sot the $179 voucher definitely
