There is an interesting article posted on CBC today discussing why loyalty programs aren’t so rewarding. While the article raises some valid points, I think the issue that has arisen is that there isn’t enough loyalty program education out there and hence many reward program members get trapped in the pitfalls. I think many Rewards Canada readers would tend to disagree with this article as we know many of you are reaping huge benefits from them. For me personally reward programs have saved me well into the five figures in travel costs in the past 12 months alone! What are you thoughts? Let us know in the comments section below!
