In the department of odd redemption options comes this offer from JAL Mileage Bank.
It is not for Canadian JAL MB members but it really intrigued me as I

WestJet announced yesterday that all Personal
Electronic Devices (PED) can be used during all phases of flights
including taxi, take off and landing as long as they are in a
non-transmitting or flight mode. (Source WestJet). Air Canada instituted
the same policy last week on May 28th. This is perfect timing for both
airlines as they are both in the process of or will shortly be
introducing inflight Wi-fi.
