Aeroplan Connections - Earn up to 15,000 Bonus Aeroplan Miles for referring new members (Targeted offer, join the conga)

Last week Aeroplan began emailing some of their members (us included) with a new acqusition campaign called Aeroplan Connections. The offer is targeted but if for some reason you missed the email or it went to your junk mail folder here is the link.

Simply input your Aeroplan number and it will let you know if you were a targeted member or not.
Essentially this promo is a refer a friend bonus that awards the referred with bonus Aeroplan miles, up to 15,000 (enough for a short haul flight) for getting people to join Aeroplan and fly on Air Canada. If you were targetted, the first 1,000 miles is super easy, you'll get that for simply sending an email to friends or family asking them to join.

The next 7,000 miles are a little harder but not that hard if the people you refer have not joined Aeroplan yet as you'll get 1,000 miles per person who joins up to a maximum of 7 times. The final 7,000 can be much harder as you need those 7 connections you referred to complete flights on Air Canada to earn more bonus miles and those flights have to be booked by August 24th with all travel confirmed by November 30th.
