Today’s news is pretty much reserved for Hotel Credit Card market in Canada!
If you are current holder of the Priority
Club® World MasterCard® from Capital One or are considering getting the
card, I have good news for you. As of September 17 the card will offer Priority
Club Platinum Elite Status instead of the current Gold Status. Members will
retain the Platinum Status for the life of the account (ie you cancel your credit
card, you lose status). What does Platinum Elite Status get you? 50% Bonus Points
on all IHG stays (Gold is only 10%), Complimentary Room Upgrades subject to
availability, and guaranteed room availability if you book at least 72 hours

In other hotel credit card news you may have seen my post from earlier today
for the MBNA Best Western MasterCard that now comes with a 50,000 Bonus Rewards
Points sign up bonus for a limited time and as of tomorrow, the MBNA
Choice Privileges MasterCard will come with a limited time 24,000 bonus points
