For the second time this week the biggest news comes from Chase Canada. Another card with no foreign transaction fees and its the one we asked for: the Marriott Rewards Visa. But its not just a single change to the existing Marriott Platinum Visa in fact that card has been shelved for the new Marriott Rewards Premier Visa. The card now comes with a much better offering then the previous Platinum Visa although it still lacks most of the standard insurance benefits seen on most of its competition. In other news, California based Voila Hotel Rewards which is an independent hotel loyalty program for locations primarily outside of North America will be running a co-branded loyalty program for the St Regis Hotel in Vancouver called St Regis Rewards. If this boutique is regular haunt of yours in YVR then you should be able to be rewarded for those stays soon. More details can be found here.
