Effective yesterday, the interline agreement between WestJet and Air France KLM came into effect. Both European airline will offer interline connections to WestJet’s Canadian network. The interline agreement allows Air France KLM passengers to seemlessly connect to WestJet flights with one itinerary rather then two. Initially the agreement will allow for connections from Calgary to Vancouver and Edmonton as well as Vancouver to Calgary and Edmonton.
The future should bring reciprocal interlining for WestJet and the possibility of code sharing on various routes.
